Documents governing the shopping-cart.shop service: refund policy, terms of service, personal data processing policy, and information for rights holders.
Refund policy
The “shopping-cart.shop” service, operated by AL MASHRAB WELTHANDEL GENERAL TRADING LLC, Company Address — Sharjah Media City, Sharjah, UAE, registration number 2542307 (hereinafter the “Service Administration”), delivers digital (virtual) products (hereinafter the “Goods”) to the Buyer at the email address supplied by the Buyer and/or to the Buyer's account on the Service, once payment confirmation has been received from the payment partner, payment agent, acquirer, or other payment infrastructure.
When using the Service, a Client — including a User or Seller who has been granted payment acceptance functionality, Acquiring, Terminals, or other payment instruments — acts as an agent within the limits of the actions entrusted to them, and is responsible for the accuracy of the information transmitted, the performance of obligations towards the Buyer, and compliance with applicable requirements when carrying out transactions.
The Buyer understands and agrees that certain categories of Goods — including but not limited to PIN codes, unique activation codes, prepaid cards, and other digital products — may not be subject to prompt and unconditional return to the Seller, because such Goods may have been compromised by the Buyer.
In such cases, in order to prevent infringement of the rights and interests of Buyers, funds received by the Seller from the sale of such Goods may be blocked on the Seller's personal account and made unavailable for withdrawal for a period of 7 (seven) to 30 (thirty) days, taking into account the Seller's verification level, the product category, the nature of the transaction, and the rules of the payment infrastructure.
Grounds on which a Buyer may raise a refund request include, in particular:
- the Goods do not match the information about them published by the Seller on the Service;
- the Goods do not work;
- the Goods have defects that affect their use in accordance with their purpose and description;
- funds were debited in error;
- a double charge occurred;
- other cases provided for by applicable law or by the rules of the payment infrastructure.
Where such grounds arise, the Buyer must:
- Go to the page of the Service on which the Goods were purchased from the Seller.
- Submit a request, review, or complaint about the Goods through the interface provided by the Service, setting out the substance of the complaint in detail.
- Where necessary, correspond with the Seller through the Service's functionality or by another method provided by the Service, attaching supporting documents, images, and other materials.
- If the Seller does not respond within 72 (seventy-two) hours of the complaint being sent, or if the Seller refuses to satisfy the Buyer's complaint, the Buyer may contact the Service Administration directly at support@shopping-cart.shop, providing their details, order information, the account/transaction number, and a description of the situation.
- The Service Administration reviews a Buyer's request within up to 72 (seventy-two) hours of receipt, unless a longer period is required for additional verification.
- If the Buyer's request is granted, and provided sufficient funds are available and there are legal and technical grounds for a refund, the Service Administration will issue the corresponding instruction to the payment partner, payment agent, acquirer, or other participant in the payment infrastructure to refund the Buyer within 5 (five) business days of the decision. The actual crediting time depends on the payment method and on the rules of the issuing bank, the payment system, and the acquirer.
- If the Buyer's request is refused, or if there are insufficient funds for a refund, the Buyer may contact the relevant bank, payment system, acquirer, or other payment service through which payment was made. The Service Administration, acting on behalf of AL MASHRAB WELTHANDEL GENERAL TRADING LLC, Company Address — Sharjah Media City, Sharjah, UAE, registration number 2542307, may provide reasonable assistance within its competence by supplying information required to resolve the dispute.
